ACT Heavy Duty and Xtreme Clutch Kits handle horsepower upgrades with ease. The kits below come with Pressure Plate, Disc, and Bearings. To choose the Correct Application, consider how much Torque your Engine Produces. If you are unsure of the Torque Number, EMAIL US so we can recommend a Clutch Kit.

ACT Heavy Duty (2100psi Clamping Force) is a good pressure plate for street cars that run all motor all the way up to 12psi of Boost. Factory Like Engagement with only a Minor Increase in Pedal Effort.

ACT Xtreme (2600psi Clamping Force) For High Horsepower cars that see time at the Drag Strip. Clutch Pedal becomes harder to push in, but the clamping force will hold whatever power you can generate.

ACT MaXX Xtreme (2900psi Clamping Force) This Plate, if offered, is overkill for most. This is designed for cars that run on the Drag Strip Only.

ACT 00/SS/MM (Sprung Hub Disc) These are designed to maintain stock engagement for street driving. The 00 is a stock disc, the SS has Copper Woven to Absorb Heat and the MM is an ACT Modified Surface.

ACT R4/R6 (Race Disc) Known as Puck or Pad Copper Discs. They engage very fast and and should be used only if you are running the car extremely hard.

   The ACT Part Numbers can be deciphered according to the chart shown. Find your vehicle and decide which pressure plate and disc combo works for you. The Increase in Pedal Stiffness and Torque Capacity is listed next to each part number.
