AEM Cold Air Intake - Chrysler, Dodge and Eagle

Through extensive use of a chassis dyno, AEM is able to tune each application for maximum horsepower over a broad range of engine speeds. AEM Cold Air Intakes add as much as 15 horsepower to naturally aspirated engines and up to 35 horsepower to forced induction engines by lowering air temperatures and increasing the volume of air flow. With the AEM Cold Air Intake installed, the engine produces a more powerful growl and you notice increased horsepower and torque throughout the RPM range. AEM Cold Air Inductions are powder coated to reduce heat buildup and are available with Blue, Red, Silver or Polished finishes.

For Maximum Air Filtration, the included AEM Dryflow Synthetic Air Filter uses a non woven polyester fiber element to prevent dust and dirt as small as One Micron from entering the engine. The non uniform weave design of the AEM Dryflow Air Filter ensures proper air flow and filtration even when the filter is dirty. AEM Dryflow Air Filters have been laboratory tested to block 99.4% of particulate matter. AEM Dryflow Filters are designed to be cleaned and are reusable, but they do not require oiling to trap dirt like other brands. AEM offers a cleaner kit designed to be used every 3-6 months, depending on driving conditions.

AEM takes the guesswork out of installing a Cold Air Induction on your car. Each AEM Cold Air Induction Kit comes with detailed step-by-step instructions and mounting hardware. Some AEM Cold Air Induction applications require modifications to the engine bay to properly route the intake piping, usually accomplished with hand tools. Although not required, the AEM Air / Water Bypass valve is recommended for customers who plan on using the AEM Cold Air Induction in regions that are subject to light flooding or heavy rain.
