The B&M Oil Cooler will reduce Engine Oil Temperatures up to 40 Degrees. This is important when you increase the horsepower of your engine or drive at Full Throttle for extended periods of time (circuit or track events). Higher Oil Temperatures will cause engine oil to lose Viscosity which increases wear on Engine Internals. The B&M Oil Cooler will works as an Oil Radiator and Cools the Oil with Air Flow. This Compact Unit measures 6"x 11" and can be mounted in the Front Bumper or Wheel Well. Included in the B&M Oil Cooler kit is a Oil Filter Relocation Kit. This is a Direct Bolt Up for Oil Filters Using a 20x1.5 Thread Pitch.

   The B&M Optional Oil Thermostat Can be installed inline of the Oil Supply to Help Regulate the Rate of Cooling. When oil temperature is below 180 degrees, the Internal Valves Create a Bypass of 90% Oil Flow and retains 10% to flow through the cooler to prevent possible air pockets. Above 180 degrees, The Thermostat allows 90% of the Oil to Flow through the Cooler For Maximum Efficientcy.
