Cat Back
Exhaust Systems are generally 100% Bolt On Systems. When you purchase a cat
back, the piping diameter and muffler design is tuned
to your car and will produce better horsepower numbers and a smoother sound
compared to welding on a rear muffler. Most systems will install with common
hand tools in 1 hour or less. Cat Back Exhaust Systems are grouped by
sound levels.
Street Exhaust Systems will have a Quiet, Mellow Sound. The A'pexi
WS is a chambered system that is very quiet. The RS*R Ex-Mag is quiet also,
but has a mellow exhaust sound.
Sport Systems
have a Louder, Bassy Sound that will produce a powerful exhaust note. GReddy Cat
Back Exhaust Systems have a deep sound and are made from Stainless Steel.
Race
Systems are recommended for competition use only, as they are loud and may not
be street legal. The RS*R GT-2 System is designed for all out horsepower. This
Versatile Design functions well on the street and the Track. The A'pexi N1
System is very loud, but an excellent choice for high power street cars. |
