When you upgrade to more horsepower,
knowing how the engine is performing becomes a very important part of daily
driving.
Electrical Gauges relay information via a remote sensor. Example -
An Electrical Water Temp Gauge will have a sensor that measures Water Temp and
converts the Temperature into a Voltage Value. That Voltage travels through the
Wiring Harness to the Back of the Gauge. The Gauge Deciphers the Voltage
and Displays the readout to you. When you are measuring fluid (Fuel, Water, Oil)
and mounting the Gauge inside the Car, we recommend Electrical Gauges for
safety.

Warning Gauges are the Evolution of Electronic Technology. GReddy has
designed a special Series of Warning Gauges which notify you of extreme engine
situations before they become harmful. GReddy Warning Gauges also have a
Playback Memory built in and can be linked to your eManage or Profec through the
Datalink.

Mechanical Gauges take information directly from the sensor they are
reading. Example - A Mechanical Fuel Pressure Gauge will have a Pressure Sensor
Built into it that is linked to the Gauge Face Itself.
