Honda / Acura Engine owners
start out with an advantage. You have access to the R&D of Honda Motor
Company's Factory R Team. The Pistons found in the (ITR) Integra
Type R and (CTR) Civic Type R engines offer higher compression and friction
coated bodies. This design is well suited for High-RPM use, which is the
sweet spot of the VTEC engine. We offer stock and overbore sized pistons
that can replace the factory pistons using the factory rods. Each Piston Set
comes with Honda Rings and Honda Wrist Pins. Installing (CTR) Civic Type R
Pistons may require notching of the Cylinder Head for Proper Clearance. |
